As Nigeria embraces the digital age, it is important that the younger generation are taught to see
the value of technology so that in the coming years they can contribute to the next generation of
leading global developers. We believe the micro:bit can inspire digital creativity and develop
the future of tech pioneers emerging from Nigeria.
The micro:bit foundation is working with Angel’s Children Organization and Almond Careers
Limited to bring the micro:bit to Nigeria.
As the micro:bit is only a year old globally and does not exist in Nigeria, Almond Careers
has kicked off the project that will see micro:bit integrated into the academic curriculum
for secondary schools in Nigeria.
